Ferrari and Mantovani gain points in the Catalan GP

Matteo Ferrari (Indonesian E-Racing Gresini MotoE)

Both Indonesian E-Racing Gresini MotoE riders closed the race in Barcelona in the points zone, obtaining the seventh and fourteenth position with Matteo Ferrari and Andrea Mantovani.
In particular Ferrari was good at the start to recover positions up to enter the Top5, but in the second part of the race he had to give a position to Yonny Hernandez and, at the end of the race, to Fermin Aldeguer for a penalty. The seventh final position is still a good basis for the next round in Assen.
Andrea Mantovani also scored some points, managing to get back on the bike after crashing at turn 1, thus bringing home a couple of points that make him feel good.
Next round on June 27th on the Dutch circuit of Assen.

Matteo Ferrari
“It was a good race from some points of view. I had some strong points where I was able to recover, which unfortunately did not happen in other sectors where I suffered on the rear, especially in the left corners. We were in the leading group and this is important. "

Andrea Mantovani, one of the rookies of MotoE

Andrea Mantovani
“I immediately lost the front at turn 1 while I was recovering. I was riding well and we could certainly stay with the second group, unfortunately the crash in such a short race ... I managed to get up and finish the race anyway, it's always important to do some more kilometers."
