The calendar of the MotoE 2024
The 2024 MotoGP electric world championship will be held over 16 races on 8 European circuits. Starting in Portimao in March and finishing in Misano in September. Among the new features on the calendar is the Portuguese route.
The 2024 season of MotoE, the second with the Ducati V21L, has a calendar made up of eight rounds and 16 races, and shares the stage on most of the European dates of the MotoGP world championship calendar. For 2024 there is an important innovation on the horizon: the grid MotoE, made up of nine teams and 18 drivers, faces the splendid Autódromo Internacional do Algarve for the first time. Portugal will thus become the eighth different country to host the MotoE.
After two pre-season tests, both in Portimao, the 2024 season begins with the Portuguese Grand Prix; from there, the next stop is Le Mans, before returning to Barcelona and the Catalan GP on its new date in late May. The Catalan and Italian GPs are the first back-to-back of 2024, with the first round at home for Ducati, on the Mugello track.
The fifth challenge of 2024 will be played on the historic TT Circuit in Assen for the second back-to-back with the Sachsenring, in Germany, the sixth stage before the summer break. The championship MotoE he then returns to action at the Red Bull Ring in Austria before the final showdown at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, to close the curtain on season number six of the MotoE World Championship
