The performance of the MotoE on the Sachsenring circuit

The German Sachsenring circuit extends over a length of 3670 m with ten left corners, three right corners and a final straight of 700 metres. There MotoE took to this track for the first time in 2019, for the first ever race of the new electric MotoGP class. Thanks to the telemetries shared by Ducati, we can show you the performance of the MotoE on this route. The average lap record speed for the class MotoE at the Sachsenring it was 150.9 km/h while the maximum speed reached was 246.6 km/h. On the German circuit, the electric class of MotoGP is with the throttle wide open 39.4% of the time while the engine braking is used 29.9% of the time. As for the brakes, the front is used 23.7% of the time. Regenerative braking of MotoE allow 11% of the energy used at Sachsenring to be recovered.
