Garzò achieve the FP1 of the ValenciaGP

The home rider, Héctor Garzò, fixes the best time in the first free practice session of the MotoE. The Valencian rider of the Ego Corsa of the Tech3 E-Racing team set the chronometer at 1'41.557, at the fifth of the nine total laps. Garzo precedes Bradley Smith (One Energy Racing team) and Matteo Ferrari (Trentino Gresini MotoE team) respectively of 269 and 282 thousandths. Eric Granado (Esponsorama Racing team) closed behind Ferrari at just 14 thousandths. In fifth and sixth position we find Niccolò Canepa e Xavier Simeon about half a second from Garzò. The French rider Lucas Mahias did well replacing the injured Niki Tuuli for the Ajo MotoE team. Mahias achieved the twelfth time with a gap of a second and a half. Compared to the tests of the MotoE that took place here in June, the riders were more than a second slower, due to wind and low temperatures (the asphalt today was 16ºC).

Among the Italians, in addition to Ferrari and Canepa (LCR E-Team), we find Alex De Angelis (OCTO Pramac MotoE ) in ninth place, Mattia Casadei (SIC58 Squadra Corse) fifteenth and Lorenzo Savadori (Trentino Gresini MotoE) in sixteenth place.

Tomorrow schedule includes the FP2 and, at the end of the day, the E-pole (here the timetables).
