Randy and Niccolò improved from the first race at Sachsenring, showing a greater feeling with the bike.
Some changes to the bike made before the race allowed Randy De Puniet to regain some of the lost feeling after the first tests in Jerez. The French driver improved his position by six places compared to the start.
The team and the drivers are now waiting for the next races at Misano to give continuity to the progress of the performances.

Under the statements of the two pilots after the race.

Niccolò Canepa
"I'm satisfied because we have never ridden these bikes in the full wet before, so the conditions were new for everybody. We learnt a lot during the race and now we understand a little bit better what to do on the bike. I improved some positions from my qualifying result, and we are now not too far from the top XNUMX. We have to keep working like this, we can see the improvement from the test and from the first race. At the next race, which will be the home round, hopefully we can do something better."

Randy De Puniet
“First of all I would like to thank the team because yesterday they changed a lot on the bike, like the frame and the swingarm. The race was in the wet, but in these conditions my feeling with the bike was better and I really hope we found the problem. It was a good race because I started from the last position and finished XNUMXth, fighting with some riders. It was a positive race and I hope that in Misano we will return to a good level. I start from here more confident than at Sachsenring, we'll see what happens in the next race. "
