The second round of the 2019 season of the MotoE ended with a great performance by the Octo Pramac pilots MotoE. Alex De Angelis closes one step from the podium in fourth place while Josh Hook finishes seventh after a great comeback on a track made wet by the rain that fell just before the race.
De Angelis starts very well from the third row and at the end of the first lap he is already in fourth position. However, the Italian driver makes a mistake at the 3 corner in the second lap but limits the damage and stays close to the leading group. Experience and speed allow him to recover and fight for the podium to the end. Under the checkered flag passes fourth passed in the last corners from Bradley Smith.
Today for the Octo Pramac team Motoe it was a day of comebacks. Besides De Angelis also Josh Hook he made his, starting 14th. On the first lap the Australian had already recovered five positions. The experience of running in every track condition maintained in the Endurance World Championship is the strength of Hook, who recovers and finishes seventh.
