This type of electric motocross bike, also known as the “dirt bike”, is a novelty in Europe. Being a very powerful electric vehicle it cannot be compared to a standard electric bike. The limited weight of the vehicle (50 kg or less than half of a standard motocross bike) makes the Light Bee the ideal bike for motocross routes.
The power of the electric motor is 3kW (with approximately 6 kW of maximum power) for a speed in line with the highway code of 45 km / h in the homologated version (or 75 km / h for the sports version). The maximum torque reaches 200 Nm. The battery is 1,92 kWh. The primary transmission is by belt, the secondary by chain.
The list price is 4.650 euros which drops to 3.500 with the scrapping of an old moped plus eco-bonus.
