10 electric scooters to buy with the 2024 incentives for electric two-wheeled vehicles: SILENCE S01 Plus – While electric motorcycles still record very low sales numbers, scooters are spreading much more rapidly. Over 90% of battery-powered two-wheelers that are sold are scooters or mopeds. In particular, the latter represent 20% of all mopeds sold and 10 of the 30 best-selling models are electric.

The Silence S01 Plus is an electric scooter equivalent to a 125cc and combines power, technology and sustainability. The 7,5 kW permanent magnet brushless motor is mounted inside the rear wheel and can reach a peak power of 11,5 kW. The battery is 5,6 kWh and is removable with a trolley system for easy transport around the home or office; charging time is 6-8 hours. The S01 Plus comes with three driving modes Eco, City and Sport. This electric scooter model reaches a speed of 100 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 50 km/h in 3 seconds. The range is 133 km and can overcome climbs of up to 17% inclination. The dimensions of 2.026 x 722 x 1.139 mm, wheelbase 1.450 mm and weight of 111 kg (without battery), are combined with a two-seater saddle 805/755 mm high with integrated handle. The weight of the battery and the trolley is 41 kg. The Silence S01 Plus can be driven from 16 years of age with an A1 or B license.
The price for Italy is 8.272 euros which, with the 2024 eco-incentives, drops by 30%. In case of scrapping, the incentive increases, bringing the savings to 40%.
