Matteo Ferrari (FELO Gresini Racing team) - 3rd and 6th in the Spanish GP of MotoE
“Honestly, I thought I could have stayed with the front group right from the beginning, but I was curious to find out their weak points: last year I didn’t feel strong while trying to overtake my opponents. I worked a lot on this side of things and I can say we’re finally there.”. In Race 1 “I lost a bit in the first laps and I wasn't happy, but I managed to stay focused, I tried to recover despite the lack of feeling with the rear tire. We will have to fix this problem, but in any case we were only a few tenths away and I'm really happy with this first podium, we were a little lucky this time!!”.
Sunday, “I was able to get up to speed in the second half of the race; I was quick, but we still need to work on the early laps and on the start, which was far from perfect. However, the important thing was to keep getting the feeling with the bike and not make mistakes: with these high temperatures it was easy to slip. I am very happy with our weekend: it has always been the most difficult for us and we expected to suffer more especially given the high temperatures. This year we made a step forward: we bagged 26 points and that’s the biggest amount I’ve ever collected in the first two MotoE races of the year. We’re fourth in the championship and except for Granado we’re all very close. Now we need to focus on Le Mans, where we’ve always been strong: I’m confident, we start from here and we move forward!”.

Alessio Finello (FELO Gresini Racing team) - 15th in the Spanish GP of MotoE
“Unfortunately, Race 1 lasted very little for me, but there is also something to learn from this. The too much enthusiasm and strong emotions of the first race didn't help me. I got off to a bad start and was in too much of a hurry to recover as soon as possible. This led me to make a mistake at the last corner in the second lap and I crashed, fortunately without consequences ”.
“It was surely not the type of debut I was dreaming of when I was a child. Also in Race 2, made a mistake in the heat of the start and that destabilized me throughout the race: I tried to fix it during the first lap but lost touch with the group ahead. The feeling with the bike wasn't bad despite yesterday's crash, but I still wasn't able to ride with my level and pace. However, we took a point and reached the goal of finishing the race, which is fundamental for me to do km and gain experience. Now let's go to Le Mans and try again. I thank the whole team for the work they are doing, they are making me grow a lot and the sponsors and all the people who have followed me this weekend and have supported me for years.”
