Over 90% of battery-powered two-wheelers that are sold are scooters or mopeds. In particular, the latter represent 20% of all mopeds sold and 10 of the 30 best-selling models are electric.

10 electric scooters to buy with the 2024 / YADEA T9L Plus incentives
The YADEA T9L Plus is an electric scooter belonging to the L1e category, that of mopeds with a maximum speed of 45 km/h. The 2,1 kW permanent magnet brushless motor is integrated into the rear wheel hub. Energy is provided by a double removable 2,44 kWh battery which guarantees a maximum range of 110 km. The battery can be removed from the scooter for remote charging. The suspensions consist of a telescopic front fork with a 30 mm diameter and 70 mm travel and a double shock absorber with 60 mm travel at the rear. Braking is entrusted to a system with a 220 mm diameter disc at the front and a 146 mm diameter drum at the rear, while the wheels are 12 inches. The dimensions of 1.910 x 710 x 1.075 mm, wheelbase 1.325 mm and weight of 75 kg are combined with a 755 mm high two-seater saddle with integrated handle and luggage rack. The weight of each of the two batteries is 9,5 kg.
YADEA's T9L Plus can be purchased at the price of 2.999 Euros, a price which, with the 2024 eco-incentives, drops to 2.255 Euros. In the event of scrapping, the incentive increases, bringing the cost of the T9L Plus to 2.010 Euros.
