At EICMA 2022, Fantic presented the prototype of its first electric scooter; now it's time to see the Issimo City on the streets of Rome.
Fantic Issimo City, is a scooter born for urban and extra-urban proximity mobility. It is available in the L1 version (equivalent to a 50cc with a maximum speed of 45 km/h) and, from May, also in the L3 version. This latest version is equivalent to a 125cc with a maximum speed of about 65 km/h. The Fantic scooter is equipped with a standard 2,2Kwh battery which can be increased up to 4,4kWh. In fact, the total range is 72 km according to the WMTC cycle, a value which rises to over 140 km in the case of a double battery.
The engine is inboard, i.e. fixed to the frame, while many of the electric scooters of the same category mount the engine in the rear wheel rim. The Fantic solution, on the other hand, is more traditional, to reduce unsprung masses and improve comfort and driving pleasure. The 3kW motor is made by Dell'Orto.
Lightness and driving comfort are the keys to the new Issimo City by Fantic
Issimo City is characterized by an aluminum trellis frame with an innovative and original design and by two large 16'' wheels. The chosen diameter is a fundamental feature for safe use, to easily tackle city obstacles such as holes, manholes and rails.
The Issimo City battery group is housed in a refined rear frame made of reinforced technopolymer: a component that combines function and design. Another interesting aspect is the possibility of extracting the battery to be able to recharge it at home or at work.
The starter is of the Keyless type, with which it is possible to unlock the scooter even with the keys in your pocket. The Fantic scooter is completely connected and allows you to keep notifications and all the scooter parameters under control from the 5'' LCD screen thanks to the official APP. In addition to the rear top case and the smartphone holder, new accessories will soon be available to customize the Fantic electric scooter.
Issimo City can be purchased with the 2023 incentives
Issimo City is available in four different colors: Neon Green, Fantic Red, Night Blue and Matt Grey. The L1 version can already be purchased at the price of €3.990, a price that is reduced by 30% with state incentives and by 40% in the event of scrapping.
Issimo City completes Fantic's E-Mobility range which includes Issimo 45, Issimo 25 and the TX scooter. These four models were created to cover every mobility need: from the so-called "last mile mobility" to extra-urban commuting.
