The Top 5 of electric scooters in the first nine months of 2023 – The market for electric mopeds and motorcycles is regaining share, after ups and downs in the first half of 2023. Compared to the first nine months of 2022, 2424 fewer units were sold, equal to one variation of -19%.
The Top 5 of electric scooters in the first nine months of 2023 – The electric market regains share, closing September with a convincing +11,28% and 1.006 vehicles sold. Both scooters (+13,37% and 619 units) and mopeds (+10,79% and 349 units) performed well. However, the cumulative value remains in negative territory, with a decrease of 19,01% and 10.329 vehicles.
In the first six months, electric two-wheeled vehicles enjoyed the 2023 eco-incentives, amounting to 35 million euros. These funds are now exhausted but Confindustria ANCMA has asked the Government to release 5,6 million unused in 2022 and currently frozen.
The L1e electric scooter market in the first nine months of 2023
