2022 mid-range electric scooters: ten of the most interesting models of zero-emission electric scooters equivalent to a 125cc thermal engine, which can also be purchased by taking advantage of the 2022 incentives for electric motorcycles.
For those wishing to buy electric motorcycles or scooters in Italy in 2022, they can take advantage of the eco-bonus included in the 2021 Budget Law. The incentive is 30%, up to a maximum of 3.000 euros, for purchase without scrapping, while it is 40% %, up to a maximum of 4.000 euros, for the purchase with scrapping of an old vehicle with approval between Euro 0 and Euro 3. In total there are 150 million euros allocated to the eco-bonus from 2022 to 2026: 20 million per year will be available for the first two years, while for the three-year period from 2024 to 2026, 30 million will be available a year. The eco-bonus will be calculated on the percentage of the purchase price of a new electric vehicle, belonging to the categories L1e, L2e, L3e, L4e, L5e, L6e, L7e (the vehicle can also be purchased in leasing).
Several electric models are now available on the market with very different characteristics and prices.
