On this page we analyze the Top 5 of electric scooters registered in the first six months of 2023. We are talking about vehicles belonging to the L1e category, with a maximum speed of up to 45 km/h equivalent to 50cc with an internal combustion engine. Electric scooters in this range represent the ideal solution for urban mobility, thanks to prices that are in line with the equivalent endothermic engine scooters. They are also exempt from tax for at least five years.

After two months of growth, the electric two-wheeler market stops in June, putting only 1.600 vehicles on the road, against 3.541 in 2022 (which however incorporated some orders partly responsible for the unfavorable comparison), equal to a drop of 54,82, 20,38%. The results for the semester were also negative, recording a drop of 7.237% and 1 units. The same trend was also seen in the L16e electric mopeds, which recorded a decrease of 2023% in the first six months of XNUMX.
Overall, in the first half of 2023, the electric two-wheeled vehicles registered were respectively: 2.914 mopeds (equivalent to 50cc), 4.143 scooters and 180 motorcycles.
In the first half of 2023, it was possible to purchase electric vehicles by taking advantage of eco-incentives.
