Over 90% of battery-powered two-wheelers that are sold are scooters or mopeds. In particular, the latter represent 20% of all mopeds sold and 10 of the 30 best-selling models are electric.

The new BMW CE 02 represents a new gateway to the world of two wheels offered by BMW Motorrad. It is electric, is aimed primarily at young people and is neither an e-motorbike nor an e-scooter. It is an eParkourer, created for the city and the urban environment. The BMW CE 02 relies on a rigid double-ring frame made of tubular steel. Telescopic forks with hydraulic damping operate at the front, while at the rear there is a single-sided swingarm and a direct pivot shock absorber. The CE 02 can also be driven by those who are approaching the world of 2 wheels at the age of 16, thanks to a maximum power of 11 kW (15 HP). In the 4 kW (5 HP) version (nominal power 3,2 kW (4 HP)) limited to 45 km/h, the new CE 02 also meets the requirements of the AM license and can be driven in Italy, for example, in starting from the age of 14 and from those who have a car licence. With a maximum speed of 95 km/h, the vehicle is fast even on fast roads, while the range of over 90 km (for the 11 kW version according to WMTC) allows you to tackle long adventures in the city. Thanks to the low weight of just 132 kg (11 kW version) or 119 kg (4 kW version) and the low seat height of just 750 mm, the new CE 02 also stands out for its handling characteristics.
The BMW CE 02 can be purchased at the indicative price of 8.750 euros (11kW) and 7.750 euros (4kW) which is reduced by 30% with incentives or by 40% in the event of scrapping.
