
In the Dutch GP of MotoE in Assen, Matteo Ferrari conquers an important one-two by winning both Race 1 and Race 2. The Felo Gresini MotoE team rider in Race 2 preceded Jordi Torres and Mattia Casadei.
Race 2 of the MotoE of the Dutch GP – The fourth round of the 2023 season of the MotoE at the Assen circuit ended with the double victory of Matteo Ferrari, who, after first place in Race 1, also won in Race 2.
The Italian rider preceded Jordi Torres (Openbank Aspar Team) and Mattia Casadei (HP Pons Racing 40).
Matteo Ferrari, who started from second position on the grid, found himself in third position at the first corner, behind Jordi Torres and Eric Granado. After a first study lap, the Gresini team rider first passed Granado and, on the following lap, Jordi Torres.
Behind the first three, there was a quartet formed by Randy Krummenacher, Kevin Zannoni, Miquel Pons and Mattia Casadei, who started from fourth position on the grid.
Ferrari and Torres fought right up to the last meters of the last lap, but it was the Italian rider who got the better of Torres and scored the first ever one-two in the MotoE 2023. Behind them, it was Mattia Casadei who conquered the third step of the podium, making a stupendous comeback, recovering seven positions.
The Top 5 was completed by the LCR team duo, Eric Granado and Miquel Pons.
In the standings Torres remains in the lead with 144 points ahead of Ferrari on 136 points and the Intact GP team duo of Garzò and Krummenacher with 98 points.
