After the excellent round in Portugal, the riders of the IntactGP MotoE team arrive this weekend in Le Mans for the 2024 French GP. Hector Garzò is second in the general classification, just one point behind the leader, Mattia Casadei. Lukas Tulovic is instead in fourth place, thanks to a good performance in Portimao in his MotoE return race after the experience in Moto2.

Almost two months after the opening grand prix of the 2024 season, in Portugal, the MotoE World Championship heads to Le Mans for the French GP, the second round of the year.
For the fifth time, the MotoE will race on the legendary, yet extremely challenging, Bugatti Circuit in Le Mans, France. This iconic circuit located in the north-west of France is known for its stop-and-go character. On the 4,19 kilometers of the track there are very few smooth sections, while the nine right-hand corners and five left-hand corners are characterized by late braking points and sections of strong acceleration.

Hector Garzò and Lukas Tulovic, the two riders of the Dynavolt IntactGP team in MotoE, arrive at Le Mans after the first stage in Portiamo, second and fourth in the standings respectively. At the season opener in Portugal, Spaniard Hector Garzò achieved two excellent second places. At Le Mans, the focus is now on celebrating upcoming successes in both 8-lap races on Saturday, to further consolidate his second position in the world championship. The 25-year-old has demonstrated that he can also master the obstacles of the French circuit on the bike Ducati V21L, taking two podiums last year.
Among the riders currently engaged in MotoE, Hector Garzò is certainly the one who collected less than he deserved. In Portimao, he was the author of two excellent races, fighting for victory from the first to the last lap in both races, and he was second at the finish line on both occasions. Furthermore, Garzò missed the final podium of the MotoE 2023 by just one point and was eliminated from the 2019 title fight at the last race due to irregular tyre pressure. If there is anyone who has credit in MotoE, this is definitely Valencia's rider.

The Bugatti Circuit is nothing new for Lukas Tulovic either. The ex-Moto2 rider knows the French circuit very well and arrives at the French Grand Prix in fourth place in the world championship and, together with his teammate, is in first place in the team classification.
That Lukas Tulovic could have done well upon returning to MotoE, no one doubted it but a fourth place in the debut race is a really good way to start the season for the youngest race winner in MotoE (Austrian GP 2021). Furthermore, the German rider, when not competing in MotoE, plays the role of Sky television commentator in Germany for the world championship races.

The French GP of MotoE begins on Friday, with two free practice sessions and a qualifying one, in Q1 and Q2 style, the latter starting from 17:05 pm local time. The races will take place on Saturday at 12.15:16.10 pm and XNUMX pm local time.
