Ferrari leader in the MotoE free practices in Germany

The third round of the 2023 MotoE World Championship starts this weekend in Germany at Sachsenring. Matteo Ferrari set the fastest time in the free practices ahead of Jordi Torres and Hector Garzò.

MotoE Free Practice in Germany - This weekend starts the third round of the 2023 season of the MotoE, the first with World Championship status and with the new V21L electric Ducati.
At the end of FP2, the second free practice session of the MotoE 2023 German GP, Matteo Ferrari (Felo Gresini MotoE) was the fastest, ahead of championship leader Jordi Torres (Openbank Aspar team) and Hector Garzò (Dynavolt Intact GP).
Fourth was the other Dynavolt Intact GP team rider, Randy Krummenacher, who had been the fastest in the morning's FP1. Mattia Casadei (HP Pons Racing 5) closes the Top40 of MotoE after the free practice of the German GP.​​
Despite the damp track, Ferrari improved the lap record set in 2019 by Niki Tuuli to 1:57.205.
The Q1 and Q2 style qualifying session will start at 17:00 (local time) and will be broadcast on the MotoGP and MotoE YouTube channels.
