The Team Trentino Gresini MotoE on the Jerez de la Frontera track for the second round of the season and this time he does it completely thanks to the return of Alessandro Zaccone, on his world debut after the unfortunate accident in the tests two Wednesdays ago.
Zaccone cautiously started his first free practice on Friday, but he was among the most present on track with eleven laps and finishing with the sixteenth fastest time. He has still a little knee pain and above all, a chattering problem to solve.
Matteo Ferrari did better, more committed to perfecting the setting of his Energica Ego Corsa, but still among the best in its category, finishing the day with the fifth fastest time.

Matteo Ferrari
“We are already faster than the race with higher temperatures than last Sunday so we got a good step of the set-up. I'm very happy also because in the afternoon I repeated my best pace in even worse conditions. Granado is still the man to beat but we are improving and I believe that this weekend we will be more performing. Last week we were conservative, but now we have fixed many things and tomorrow we will aim to make a good qualifying considering that in the first laps I'm always fast".

“Unfortunately the knee still hurts. In the second session with a painkiller I went better but unfortunately the problem is with the bike because there is an important chattering problem that energica engineers are now evaluating. We hope to get better and have a bike ready for tomorrow's free practice. "
