The Openbank Aspar Team closes an intense year in France in which it has been able to compete on several occasions among the best with Alejandro Medina and with María Herrera . The Andalusian rider led his home GP race and has shown a positive trend in his debut in the category. In Misano he achieved the best results of the season, with a seventh and a ninth position and now he arrives at a new circuit for him in which he will try to close the year with a good result. María Herrera also wants to end the season with a good taste in her mouth. To do this, she hopes to be able to find, together with her technical team, the ideal set-up that will allow her to continue taking steps forward as she already did in Misano, where she repeated the result in both races by finishing eleventh.

“Le Mans is a new circuit for the MotoE category, but I have ridden a lot there when competing in Moto3. In Misano we took a big step forward and rode with the second group, but we still need to find something to go even faster and to be able to fight with the fastest. I hope we can find it this weekend because, not feeling comfortable to be able to brake the bike, it is difficult to overtake. We always give our best and I think this weekend can help us to continue improving and drawing positive conclusions”.

“We arrive in France with the desire and enthusiasm to face this last round. The truth is that the season has been very intense. The objective at Le Mans will be to enjoy the last races of the season, on a new circuit for me. Free practice will be important to have everything clear before the first race on Saturday. We are going to fight hard to close the season with a good result”.
