Alessandro Zaccone and Nicholas Spinelli are the riders of the Tech3 E-Racing team for the 2024 MotoE World Championship. Hervé Poncharal has chosen two riders who have already achieved podiums and victories in MotoE to defend the colours of the French team in the next season of the MotoGP electric class.

Alessandro Zaccone and Nicholas Spinelli are the riders of the Tech3 E-Racing team for the 2024 MotoE World Championship. The French team has thus completed its line-up for the 2024 FIM Enel MotoE World Championship. The Italian duo formed by Alessandro Zaccone and Nicholas Spinelli will face the sixth season of MotoE, which will take place over eight rounds and 16 races, all on European circuits. Another novelty for the French team in 2024 will be the title sponsor: Motul.
Alessandro Zaccone will race with the colours of Tech3 E-Racing for the second consecutive season, with the aim of consolidating his growth in his first season on the Ducati. Zaccone ran in MotoE in the two-year period 2020-2021 and 2023. His best season was 2021, in which he led the championship from the first race until the start of the last round, when, due to a dangerous crash in which he was hit by another rider, he had to withdraw from the title fight. 2021 was also the year of Zaccone's first victory in MotoE in Jerez. After his 2022 participation in Moto2, Zaccone returned to electric motorcycles last year, riding the Ducati V21L for the first time. His final season was subdued, with an eleventh-place finish and a fourth place as his best race result.

Zaccone will be joined by Nicholas Spinelli, winner of the last race of the MotoE 2023 in his rookie year in the MotoGP electric class. Last year Spinelli raced with the PONS Racing team's Ducati V21L but at the end of the championship he found himself without a bike due to the Pons team's withdrawal from the MotoE and Moto2 world championship. Spinelli had reached an initial agreement with the CryptoDATA RNF team before the latter was expelled from the world championship by the decision of FIM, IRTA and Dorna Sports. In a short time, Spinelli found an agreement with the Tech3 team to continue his journey in MotoE. In 2023, his debut season, Spinelli achieved one victory, three third places and a final sixth place in the standings.

Alessandro Zaccone (Tech3 E-Racing)
“I am happy to finally be able to announce that I will continue my adventure with the Tech3 E-Racing team in 2024, because I feel really good with them. It was not easy to re-adapt to the electric class after a year in Moto2, but we worked really hard in 2023, and I think that we are ready to fight for top positions, podiums, and why not victories! I am happy to welcome Nicholas in the team, he has been very fast this year, and I am sure that we will work well together. Exciting for the new season ahead!”

Nicholas Spinelli (Tech3 E-Racing)
“I am very happy to be able to start another season in MotoE, especially with a well established team such as Tech3 E-Racing. I would like to thank team principal Hervé Poncharal for his trust, and I am looking forward to meeting my new team. I hope that we will have a great season together, full of excitement and achievements."

Hervé Poncharal (Tech3 E-Racing)
“We are very happy and proud to finally be able to announce our 3 Tech2024 E-Racing line up. It is a pleasure to re-confirm Alessandro Zaccone for a new season with us. I strongly believe that success also comes from continuity. In 2023, Alessandro showed good signs of speed, he has potential to grow and improve, so 2024 should be and will be a much stronger year for him. He will have a new teammate who we are pleased to officialise amongst our ranks, Nicholas Spinelli. He is already a MotoE race winner, he is very young, and has been growing a lot in 2023, so it is a dream to have him with us. We believe that together with Alessandro they can emulate and push each other, so our target is to win races and fight for the championship. In addition to this good news, I am proud to announce that our 2024 campaign in the electric class will be supported by a new title sponsor, Motul, and I am excited about this new partnership."
