In recent months we have come across the question several times: “but what happens to an electric motorcycle in the event of a fall on the track? Is it safe and robust enough? ”.
Alessandro Brannetti gave us an initial answer involuntarily, with a crash at the end of the fast straight of the Cremona track on which Energica was carrying out the acceptance tests of the bikes rebuilt after the Jerez accident. Below you can see the moment of the fall, the slide, and the various blows suffered by the bike once it has met the gravel.
Once returned to the pits and removed the fairings, the damages reported by the motorcycle were minimal, as proof of the solidity and safety of the Ego Corsa.
Here you can see the photo of the bike and the main components intact after the fall.
