Jordi Torres takes pole position in the 2023 Dutch GP MotoE. At Assen, Casarei had been quickest in Q2 but was disqualified for irregular tire pressure. Jordi Torres then moved up to first place ahead of Matteo Ferrari and Eric Granado.
To Jordi Torres the pole of the MotoE in the Dutch GP – This weekend, on the Dutch circuit of Assen, the fourth round of the 2023 season will take place MotoE, the first with World Championship status and with the new Ducati electric V21L.
At the end of Q1 the fastest drivers were Kevin Zannoni (Sic58 Squadra Corse) and Mattia Casadei (HP Pons Racing 40), after a succession of fast laps by them, Nicholas Spinelli and Hector Garzò. Zannoni and Casadei then moved on to Q2 after recharging their bikes' batteries and fitting a new front tyre.

The results of Q2 and the starting grid of the MotoE for the Dutch GP
The pilots of the MotoE they were able to tackle Q2 in dry track conditions. The drivers who first took the lead were Torres and Ferrari. Soon after, however, Granado and Casadei crossed the finish line, with the Italian driver setting a record lap, 2.5 seconds faster than the track record.
Casadei's provisional pole seemed to become definitive when the chasing riders failed to improve the time of the HP Pons Racing 40 team rider. However, after the technical checks, Casadei was penalized for irregular tire pressure and placed in tenth position.
Jordi Torres therefore became the Dutch GP poleman ahead of Matteo Ferrari and Eric Granado. Bad qualifying for the third in the general standings, Hector Garzò, who will be forced to set up a comeback race.
For Torres it is the second pole position in a row in the 2023 season of the MotoE.
