Eric Granado (Avintia Esponsorama Racing Team), Matteo Ferrari (Trentino Gresini MotoE ), and Alex De Angelis (OCTO Pramac MotoE ) are the top 3 riders of the first day of the MotoE World Cup on the Misano circuit for the San Marino GP. Here their statements at the end of the day and the statement of the leader of the standings, Dominique Aegerter.

Eric Granado (1st)
“I'm very happy with today, we worked calmly in the first session to improve the knowledge of the new asphalt and the behavior of the bike. We have a good base from last year, I felt very comfortable on the bike, and I am very happy with the work done this afternoon. Now we have to work to see what we can improve for tomorrow and try to get a good position on the grid, because it will be very important for Sunday's race."

Matteo Ferrari (2nd)
“Today was a very positive day even though in the morning we had a problem with the transponder and I lost time. We made a small change in the afternoon and the feeling has better. There is still work to be done in the braking phase, but we are fast, we are in front and I think we can do well for the rest of the weekend."

Alex De Angelis (3rd)
“My impression is very positive, I'm really very happy, the feeling with the bike was really good. In the first free practice session I finished in first position, also improving my lap time compared to the last year when I got pole. Tomorrow we hope to continue in this direction."

Dominique Aegerter (World Cup Leader)
“Today I rode this track for the first time with a MotoE bike, and we actually started off well into the weekend. We are within the front group, even if the gap to the top is a little too big. I always pushed hard and then, in FP2, I had a little crash over the front. But that wasn't wild, so I could leave it behind me quickly. The team works well because we were able to set faster times in FP2 than we did in the morning. I'll stay focused and we'll do everything we can to close the gap. It is important to get a good starting position tomorrow with a strong E-Pole."
