Go Smart Go Green 2022: zero impact training, education and adrenaline. This new edition of GoSmartGoGreen ended successfully at the Enzo e Dino Ferrari International Circuit and in the historic center of Imola.
The 2022 edition of Go Smart Go Green, the first national tour dedicated to training, education and use of electric and two and four-wheeled vehicles, has successfully concluded. After Treviso, this year the event conceived by Gianluca Nannelli and organized with the patronage of the City of Imola, the Enzo and Dino Ferrari, FMI and MotusE International Autodrome has landed in Imola for a weekend dedicated to green mobility.
For two days the city and in particular Piazza Matteotti has been transformed into the capital of the start-up to safe driving thanks to the new format “Guido bene. Safe driving ”dedicated to the very young from 6 to 17 years old, while the paddock and the track of the Santerno circuit came alive with two- and four-wheel safe driving courses with the possibility of taking a lap of the track together with professional drivers.
“I am happy because Piazza Matteotti in Imola has given us so much warmth and enthusiasm with a great turnout of public and a request exceeding expectations given the bad weather. Many children have had the opportunity to learn the rudiments of how to drive an electric vehicle. Their smile, like the trust of their parents, are a great satisfaction and an incentive to continue working in this direction ", commented Gianluca Nannelli, who together with his Nannelli Riders Academy and other federal technicians were personally trained and initiated into safe driving. "Go Smart Go Green was born from the desire to take to the streets and contact the greatest number of people in the education and culture of electric mobility".
In the Santerno circuit, on the other hand, safe driving courses were held for the older ones, always under the supervision of federal technicians. Safety, but also fun on the saddle of the American Zero Motorcycles, the Thundervolts and the high-performance electric motorcycles It's electric, a brand new brand in the world of green mobility destined to establish itself as a lifestyle and trend.
"I believe in electric mobility and for 3 years I have launched into this adventure meeting the needs of many kart tracks and mini-circuits to have safe, reliable but above all silent and zero impact vehicles", said Loris Reggiani, creator of electric pitbikes Thudervolt. "Italy continues to be a somewhat skeptical market, while we have a very enthusiastic response in Northern Europe, but the mentality is changing and events such as Go Smart Go Green are fundamental for promoting green culture".
A lot of track but also off-road thanks to Talaria motocross bikes, a winning mix that combines the handling of an enduro bike with the power of a motocross bike. At the end of the 2022 edition, we look ahead with the extension of the calendar to Imola and other Italian realities.
The city of Imola as well as the Enzo and Dino Ferrari International Autodrome believe in the project as the President himself pointed out. “It was a pleasure to host Go Smart Go Green. The racetrack is active in the field of sustainability. Also thanks to the municipal administration, we have launched numerous investments to make our plant even greener and diversify our commitments, including events that promote sustainability ”, said Gian Carlo Minardi.
