The World Ducati Week 2022 - from 22 to 24 July at the Misano World Circuit “Marco Simoncelli” - is almost upon us and the Borgo Panigale manufacturer has prepared a rich program for the eleventh edition of the event.
In the three days, the race of the Ducati champions stands out, scheduled for 23 July; one of the most awaited events of the WDW. 21 Ducati riders competing in the MotoGP, Superbike and Supersport championships, will race on the Panigale V4 and Panigale V2 in a double category competition with two winners.

The undisputed protagonists of the WDW are obviously the Ducati motorcycles. People can compete with the Panigale on a latest generation simulator, or take home a souvenir photo on the drifting Streetfighter positioned on a special platform. Multistrada enthusiasts will be able to relive the history of the motorcycle through the most representative models from its birth. For lovers of the two / four wheel duo it will be possible to see live the Audi RS Q e-tron which participated in the Dakar again alongside the DesertX in the exclusive livery inspired by that of the car and, it could not miss the appeal, the Diavel 1260 Lamborghini alongside the Lamborghini Siàn FKP 37 from which the bike takes inspiration. To complete the panorama of the racing universe, there will also be a space dedicated to the Ducati MotoE in the Misano paddock. where the “V21L” prototype will be exhibited. Starting from 2023, the Ducati electric bike will compete in the FIM MotoE World Cup, of which the Bolognese motorcycle manufacturer will be a partner as a sole supplier with 18 bikes on the track during each race weekend.
MotoE represents how Ducati has decided to explore electric mobility to gain a competitive advantage in this market. The MotoE project has strategic importance for Ducati as it allows it to develop skills for its future and to experiment with technological solutions by racing, up to transferring them to production electric motorcycles.
