The third season of the MotoE World Cup is officially started at the Jerez circuit. At the end of the first free practice session of the Spanish GP of the MotoE 2021 at the Angel Nieto circuit, Eric Granado (One Energy Racing) is the fastest ahead of Domenique Aegerter (Dynavolt Intact GP) and 2020 champion Jordi Torres (Pons Racing 40). Fourth is the 2019 world champion Matteo Ferrari (Indonesian E-Racing Gresini MotoE). Best rookie Fermin Aldeguer (Openbank Aspar team) fifth.
