The Sic58 Squadra Corse team presents bikes and riders for the MotoE World Championship 2023. The team led by Paolo Simoncelli will have two Ducati to aim for victory in the electric class of the MotoGP with Kevin Zannoni and Kevin Manfredi.

Ten years have passed since the birth of the Italian team, years that Paolo Simoncelli describes as follows: “Ten years made of emotions; of racing for the podium and racing in parc fermé. But they were also years of hard work; of doors slammed in the face, years of pandemic, of sponsors skipped. Ten years of loyalty; handshakes and pats on the back. Ten years of anger; ten years of wrong braking and crashes. Ten years of friendship and trust; of words whispered in the ear "a sem trop fort". Ten years of frustration; of broken fairings and the desire to give up everything. Ten years of happiness; of pole positions and victories. Ten years of disappointments; of arrivals at the foot of the podium, of feeling it slip through your fingers and then slipping away, years of fourth places. Ten Years of Pride; at the top of the standings as best constructor team”.

The 2023 season of the Sic58 Squadra Corse for the Moto3 and MotoE world championships was presented at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli. This year the Sic58 Squadra Corse will have two riders on the starting grid of the MotoE world championship races: Kevin Manfredi and Kevin Zannoni. The first will race his second season in the MotoGP electric class after his debut in 2022 with the Pramac MotoE team. Manfredi finished his first season in MotoE in twelfth place in the overall standings. The second bike of the Sic58 team is assigned to Kevin Zannoni, who will thus race in his third season in MotoE, the second with Paolo Simoncelli's team. Zannoni had raced his debut season with the LCR team finishing in twelfth place, while last year, with the Sic58 Squadra Corse, he finished tenth.

The growing up of the Sic58 team in MotoE was made possible by the forfeit of the Ajo team, which decided to close its experience with the MotoGP electric class and concentrate on the Moto2 and Moto3 teams. In this way, from 2023, all nine teams at the start of the MotoE will have two riders.
On the occasion of the presentation event of the 2023 season, the cooperation between SIC58 Squadra Corse and the Misano World Circuit was also renewed. The MWC logo will therefore be present on the fairings of the team led by Paolo Simoncelli again this year.
The 2023 season of the MotoE will begin in March with the first winter test at the Jerez de la Frontera circuit, to continue in Barcelona for the second test session before the official start of the season at Le Mans, from 12 to 14 May.
