Record sales for electric scooters in the first nine months of 2022 (+ 63,9% on 2021): Piaggio 5 in the Top 1 - In the first nine months of the year, the growth of electric vehicles remains strong, placing 12873 vehicles on the market , marking an increase of 59,7% compared to the first half of 2021, thanks also to the incentives of the new 20 million eco-bonus.

Record sales for electric scooters: in the first nine months of 2022 the electric two-wheeler market posted a robust + 59,7% over the same period of the previous year. The incidence of zero-emission vehicles on the total market is 5,3%. Compared to 2021, 4721 mopeds were registered, equal to + 59,7%, 7588 scooters (+ 63,9%) and 564 motorcycles (+ 18,2%).
With the support of purchase incentives, the last of which is the 20 million euro eco-bonus, it is the segments most used when traveling around the city that drive a market in excellent health, which also shows very positive numbers under the heading of electric quadricycles.

The Piaggio 1 represents the entry level for “green” urban mobility. It is powered by an electric motor integrated into the rear wheel that delivers 1,2 kW, while the motorcycle version (Piaggio 1 Active) is fitted with a 2 kW unit. The moped version (Piaggio 1) has a speed limited to 45 km / h and a range of up to 55 km in ECO mode (48 km in SPORT mode). The Piaggio 1 Active version has an ECO range of up to 85 km and SPORT up to 66 km. The battery is installed under the saddle and can be easily removed for charging at home or in the office.
Thanks to the eco-incentives, Piaggio 1 can be purchased with scrapping starting from € 1.808 (without scrapping from € 2.029).
