In the first half of 2022 the electric two-wheeler market registered a robust + 82,2% over the same period of the previous year, bringing the incidence of zero-emission vehicles on the total market to 5,3%. Compared to 2021, 3.463 mopeds were registered, equal to + 77,4%, 5.315 scooters (+ 93,4%) and 393 motorcycles (+ 18%).
Several models of electric scooters are now available on the market with very different characteristics and prices. We are talking about vehicles belonging to the L1e category, the one with a maximum speed of up to 45 km / h equivalent to 50cc with an internal combustion engine. Electric scooters in this range represent the ideal solution for urban mobility, thanks to prices that are aligned with the equivalent endothermic motor scooters. They are also exempt from stamp duty for at least five years. In the first half of 2022, electric vehicles benefited from the eco-incentives that the Italian government is preparing to refinance with another 20 million.

The Top 5 of electric scooters in the first half of 2022 - ASKOLL ES Series
The Askoll ES can be chosen between different models with different battery capacity and homologation: the ES1 and ES2 are classified as mopeds, that is, reaching up to 45 km / h. The ES2 in the Evo version has a 2,2 kW motor and a 1,4kWh battery for a range of just under 50km (the version with a double battery pack is also available which doubles its range). The ES3 is the motorcycle version, it has a power of 2,7 kW and reaches 66 km / h thanks to the engine torque of 130 Nm. This version of the ES line has a double battery pack of 2,82 kWh for a autonomy of up to 96 km. The removable batteries are recharged in 8 hours from a normal household socket.
The list price for Italy of the ES2 Evo is 2.790 euros which, with the application of the eco-bonus and with scrapping, drops below 2.000 euros.
