In a few days, at EICMA 2023, the Vmoto group will present various innovations inspired by the concepts of design and aerodynamic performance, but in the meantime, on the Tazio Nuvolari circuit, it will conquer the new duration record for an electric scooter.
1931 km traveled in 24 hours with an electric scooter: this is the new record achieved by Vmoto with a CPx PRO on the Tazio Nuvolari circuit. Now it will be more difficult to say that electric two-wheeled vehicles have an autonomy problem, after an electric scooter traveled 1931 km in one day. The Guinness World Record feat was achieved by a team of five riders (including Massimo Roccoli) and testers riding a CPx PRO, the best performing scooter in the Vmoto range. The undertaking was not accompanied by clement weather, on the contrary, it took place largely in the rain due to the passage of storm Ciaran over northern Italy. What allowed the new record was not only the performance of the CPx PRO on the track, but also the work in the garage to allow the rapid swap of the batteries between one session and another.
This undertaking will certainly be echoed at EICMA 2023, starting on November 7th. The Vmoto brand, one of the main manufacturers of electric motorcycles and scooters, will focus in particular on two themes at the Milan Show to involve the Show's public: "The Power of the Air" (the importance and determining force of the air on bodies in motion), and “Performance and Endurance” (The crucial link between the performance and resistance qualities of each vehicle).
The Vmoto Soco stand will host, throughout the week, from 7 to 12 November, news and surprises inspired by the concepts of design and performance applied to aerodynamic concepts. Among these, the innovative APD project, developed with the Pininfarina Style and Design Center and the presentation of the CPx Explorer electric scooter, new to the best-selling CPx Pro family. It will also be possible to admire the vehicles created on the occasion of the prestigious Vmoto collaborations with Ducati Racing and Porsche Carrera Cup Italy.
