The first day of testing with the MotoE in Jerez

In Jerez it is the first test day of the MotoE, the world championship of electric motorcycles. Energica brought 12 Ego Corsa, one for each team. The test sessions were 3, the same number will be on Saturday and Sunday. The FP1 took place with rain tires on a wet track due to the rain that fell during the night. In the other two sessions the pilots used slick tires. On this first day all the riders were dedicated to familiarizing themselves with the new bike, tomorrow they will probably go on to try the various engine and engine brake mappings (for technical details go to this article).

The fastest of the day was Niki Tuuli, pilot of the AJO Motorsport team MotoE. Between the two dry sessions, lap times fell by an average of 3 seconds. The best Italian was Alex De Angelis of the Alma Pramac team. We wish a speedy recovery to Luca Vitali of the SIC58 team who broke his clavicle during the tests.
