Sito Pons - Team Principal
“We are very happy to have a second Energica bike in the MotoE World Cup, that is nothing more than the confirmation of our commitment to a category of present and future. For this second rider in the team we have decided to have Jasper Iwema, a rider we already knew from his experience in the World Championship. We believe that he has the tact, sensitivity and skills necessary to ride the MotoE, without a doubt qualities that it requires. We welcome him to the team and we are looking forward to starting to work together and add new successes to our team”.

Jasper Iwema
“I am very happy to return to compete in MotoGP with the Pons Racing team in the MotoE category. When I stopped in the Moto3 category, I started a new adventure, so getting back on asphalt is great and being able to add MotoE to my career. It's a very interesting racing competition with a great future. I am looking forward to starting the season with this professional team and working together to fight for great results”.
