The 2023 season of the MotoE by Ducati has officially started. On the Jerez de la Frontera track, the riders of the MotoE World Championship have ridden for the first time the Ducati V21L, the electric prototype of the Borgo Panigale manufacturer.
The MotoE 2023 has officially started; today on the Jerez circuit, the eighteen riders of the MotoGP electric world championship finally tested the new Ducati V21L on track. The test didn't start in the best way, due to the rain over the full day. Only the two central sessions, FP2 and FP3, were held on a damp track, allowing the riders of MotoE to run in 1:55. In a similar situation, the lap times are not indicative; the fact remains that the best lap time was set by Luca Salvadori (Prettl Pramac MotoE), in 1:55.522. Behind him, there is Matteo Ferrari (Felo Gresini Racing) with the lap time of 1:55.710 and Kevin Manfredi (Ongetta Sic58 Squadra Corse) in 1:56.134.
Absent from today's tests were Eric Granado, Nicholas Spinelli and Andrea Mantovani, who will arrive on Tuesday directly from Indonesia, where the two Italians competed in the recent WSSP round and Granado in WSBK.
