New Ecobonus 2022: 10 electric scooters to buy

Starting at 10 am today, 19 October 2022, the MISE platform reopens to book incentives for the purchase of electric mopeds and motorcycles; we suggest ten scooters that can be purchased with the new eco-bonus.

Ten electric scooters that can be purchased with the new Ecobonus 2022. Starting at 10 am today, October 19, 2022, dealers can apply for incentives of 20 million for the purchase of electric mopeds and motorcycles as foreseen by the allocated eco-bonus by the Italian Government. That figure, uploaded to the portal ecobonus.mise.gov.it , is available for the purchase of a two-wheeled electric vehicle.
The new 2022 incentive for electric motorcycles and scooters is 30%, up to a maximum of 3.000 euros, for purchase without scrapping, while it is 40%, up to a maximum of 4.000 euros, for the purchase with scrapping of an old vehicle with homologation between Euro 0 and Euro 3. The eco-bonus will be calculated on the percentage of the purchase price of a new electric vehicle, belonging to the categories L1e, L2e, L3e, L4e, L5e, L6e, L7e.

The Super Soco CPx is a scooter equivalent to a 125cc and represents one of the ideal means to move comfortably both in an urban and extra-urban environment. The CPx has a 4.0 kW electric motor for a top speed of 90 km / h. Torque is 171 Nm for exceptionally fast acceleration. This scooter can accommodate one or two batteries for a maximum range of 180 km; the overall charging time is 3,5 hours. The batteries can be removed from the scooter to be recharged from a normal household socket.
The list price starts at 4.990 euros. With the eco-bonus you can buy, with scrapping, starting from just over 3.000 euros.

The NIU MQiGT EVO in the 2022 version is a completely redesigned scooter compared to the previous version. The MQiGT EVO has a 5.0 kW electric motor for a maximum speed of 100 km / h which places it in the category of electric scooters equivalent to a 125cc. This scooter is equipped with two 26 Ah batteries for a maximum range of 75 km; the total charging time is about 4 hours but it is possible to do a quick top up in 20 minutes. The batteries can be removed from the scooter for remote charging.
The list price starts at 4.999 euros. With the eco-bonus you can buy, with scrapping, starting from just over 3.000 euros. Available from March 2022.

The Italian WOW launches in 2022 two electric scooter models conceived as ideal vehicles for “green” urban mobility. On the smallest, the 774 model, the power is up to 4 kW (maximum speed of 45 km / h as prescribed for mopeds), while on the larger, the 775 model, the power reaches 5 kW, with a maximum speed of 85. km / h. There are three driving modes: Eco, City and Sport. These scooters are equipped with two 32 Ah (774) or 42 Ah (775) batteries for a range between 80 and 110 km; the overall charging time varies between 4 and 6 hours depending on the batteries installed. The batteries are mounted on the sides of the saddle and are designed to be easily removed from the scooter for remote charging or for quick change with other pre-charged batteries.
The price starts from 4.580 Euros for the WOW 774 version with standard 32Ah battery (3.078 Euros with 40% incentive and scrapping), up to 5.560 Euros for the WOW 775 (3.737 with 40% incentive and scrapping).

The Silence S01 Plus is an electric scooter equivalent to a 125cc and combines power, technology and sustainability. The motor is of the brushless type with permanent magnets mounted inside the rear wheel and has a maximum power of 11,5 kW. The battery is 5,6 kWh and is removable with a trolley system for easy transport around the house or office. The S01 Plus reaches a speed of 110 km / h and accelerates from 0 to 50 km / h in 2,9 seconds. The range is 133 km and can overcome climbs of up to 17% inclination. Three driving modes: Eco, City and Sport. The charging time is 6-8 hours.
The price for Italy is 7.970 euros which, with the application of the eco-bonus and scrapping, drops to about 5.400 euros.

The Askoll NGS can be chosen between three different models different for battery capacity and homologation The NGS1 and NGS2 are classified as mopeds, reaching up to 45 km / h. The NGS1 has a single 1,045 kWh battery while the NGS2 has a second unit for a total of 2,09 kWh. The engine of the first delivers 1,5 kW for a range of 40 km while the second has a 2,2 kW engine and the range is 71 km.
The NGS3 has a double battery pack of 2,82 kWh for a range that rises to 96 km. This model is homologated as L3, therefore it is registered and has a power of 2,7 kW and reaches 65 km / h. The removable batteries are recharged in 8 hours from a normal household socket.
The list price for Italy of the NGS3 is 4.390 euros which, with the application of the eco-bonus and scrapping, drops to less than 3.000 euros.

The Piaggio 1 and Piaggio 1 Active represent Piaggio's entry level for “green” urban mobility. The Active version is powered by an electric motor integrated in the rear wheel that delivers 2 kW. The autonomy in ECO mode reaches up to 85 km while in SPORT mode it is 66 km. The 2,3 kWh battery is installed under the saddle and can be easily removed for charging at home or in the office. The dashboard consists of a large 5,5 ”color LCD digital display that is always readable thanks to the twilight sensor which adapts the background and color of the characters according to the detected light conditions.
Thanks to the eco-incentives, Piaggio 1 Active can be purchased with scrapping starting from 2.210 euros (without scrapping from 2.480 euros).

Intended primarily for urban mobility, the next-generation NEO's is Yamaha's first “zero emissions” electric-powered scooter equivalent to 50cc models.
The new NEO's is powered by the latest generation Yamaha Integrated Power Unit (YIPU). Mounted in the center of the rear wheel is a highly efficient brushless electric motor which significantly reduces the power losses of the transmission typically associated with traditional gear and belt systems. The swingarm contains the engine control unit (MCU) which regulates the power delivery.
The 50,4 V / 19,2 Ah lithium-ion battery weighs only 8 kg and is positioned under the saddle in the center of the frame. The battery can be recharged either when it is installed in the vehicle or after removing it to connect it to a power outlet. NEO's comes with a portable charger designed to plug into a household outlet. A full charge takes approximately 8 hours. The homologation is for mopeds and the autonomy can go up to 68km.
The price for Italy is 3.199 euros which is reduced by 30% with incentives or by 40% in case of scrapping.

The LIFAN E4 is a moped with a Bosch engine and a quality chassis designed for urban mobility. The Chinese company also has in its catalog the major versions registered as a motorcycle. The engine is integrated into the rear wheel hub and has a power of 1.9 kW for a maximum speed of 45 km / h which places it in the category of electric scooters equivalent to a 50cc combustion engine. The battery is a removable 1.56 kWh battery which guarantees a maximum range of 80 km. There is also a double battery version that brings the maximum range to 160 km. The batteries can be removed from the scooter for remote recharging or it can be recharged directly on the vehicle via the appropriate socket.
Thanks to the Ecobonus 2022, the LIFAN E4 can be purchased with scrapping at the price of 1.606 euros for the single battery version while the one with double battery costs 2.010 euros.

Made in Italy design and mechanics are the strengths of the ME electric scooter. This is the first electric scooter made with the Sheet Molding Compound (SMC) process, a material that combines lightness and high strength. The ME is driven by a permanent magnet brushless motor integrated into the wheel hub of 6 kW of power (2,5 kW in the 2,5 version). The 6.0 model reaches a top speed of 80 km / h while the 2.5 version reaches up to 45 km / h.
This scooter has a removable lithium battery with a range in the 6.0 version of 70 km + 10 km reserve. The battery can be charged in any normal power outlet. The charging time is 5,5 hours and after 4 hours the battery has reached 70% charge.
The ME scooters cost 6.490 (model 6.0) and 5.490 (model 2.5) and can be purchased with scrapping at 3.894 euros and 3.294 euros respectively.
