The San Marino round at the Misano World Circuit gave us the name of the winner and the final podium of the MotoE World Cup 2022: Dominique Aegerter wins his first title in the MotoGP electric class, while behind him, on the podium, are Eric Granado and Matteo Ferrari.

La MotoE World Cup has its 2022 champion: it is Dominique Aegerter, who wins the title of the MotoGP electric class at the third attempt, after the third place in 2020 and the second in 2021. After twelve races, Dominique Aegerter has achieved 227 points, 34,5 more than Eric Granado, who crashed in race 1 at Misano and was third in race 2. The third step of the podium of the MotoE 2022 was conquered by Matteo Ferrari, winner of race 2 at Misano after a duel until the last corner with Mattia Casadei, who won race on the home circuit and is fourth in the classification.
Miquel Pons, best rookie of 2021, finished fifth. The title of best rookie of 2022 was achieved by Alex Escrig who ends the debut year in MotoE in ninth position with 79 points.
Eleventh place for the two-time champion of the MotoE, Jordi Torres, forced to miss four races due to his injury in the French GP.
