The teams of MotoE World Championship have announced their riders for 2025. Confirmed are both the 2024 champion, Hector Garzò, and the 2023 winner, Mattia Casadei, as well as the protagonists of the last seasons: from Jordi Torres to Matteo Ferrari, from Kevin Zannoni to Eric Granado. Among the rookies, Lorenzo Baldassari stands out.

The teams and riders of the MotoE World Championship 2025 – 2025 will be the seventh year in which the MotoE championship will be held and the third with the Ducati electric V21L. As for the motorcycle there will be important news that we talked about in this post.

On the riders' front, it will basically be a rematch of the 2024 championship. The teams of the MotoE have, in fact, confirmed the protagonists of the past seasons. Both the 2024 champion, Hector Garzò (who will race with the number 1), and the 2023 winner and 2024 vice-champion, Mattia Casadei, will be at the start. Both will race with the same teams as in 2024, Garzò in the Dynavolt IntactGP team and Casadei with the LCR team. While Casadei will have Eric Granado at his side for the second consecutive year, Garzò will instead have a new teammate, Lorenzo Baldassari.
The 2011-year-old rookie to the German team can already look back on an impressive career in motorcycle racing. In 12, “Balda” won the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup, laying the foundation for his rise to Grand Prix racing. In total, he has achieved 2 podiums in the Moto2022 class, including five victories. Most recently, the Italian has competed in the Superbike and Supersport World Championships, where he finished runner-up in Supersport in XNUMX.

Confirmations also within the FELO Gresini MotoE; the Italian team also renews the Ferrari – Finello duo for 2025. For Matteo Ferrari, this is the seventh season in the electric world championship, of which he won the first edition, in 2019. Only three other riders will run their seventh season in MotoE: Mattia Casadei, Eric Granado and Maria Herrera. Also, this year, the Spanish will race with the Klint Forward Team, which confirmed Andrea Mantovani together with Maria Herrera.
Same line-up also for the Aspar team which has renewed its trust in Kevin Zannoni and Jordi Torres, the latter champion of the MotoE in 2020 and 2021 and vice-champion 2023. Among the protagonists in 2025 there will certainly be Oscar Gutierrez, who made his debut last year in MotoE and was third in the standings at the end of the season. The Spaniard has been confirmed by the MSI team, while the second rider of the Spanish team will be Jacopo Hosciuc, a nineteen-year-old Romanian rider who raced in the Northern Talent Cup in 2020 and 2021 and has some races in the European Moto2 Championship under his belt.

From Eastern Europe comes another rookie rider of the MotoE 2025: this is the Hungarian Tibor Erik Varga, eighteen years old, who will sit on one of the two Ducati V21L of the Rivacold Snipers Team. The Italian team will be in its first season in MotoE, having taken over from Hervé Poncharal's Tech3 E-Racing team. The Snipers team has not only taken the Tech3 team's bikes but also one of its riders, Nicolas Spinelli, who has already won several races in MotoE in the last two years.
The other former Tech3 team rider has instead taken the path of the Aruba Cloud MotoE team: this is Alessandro Zaccone. The former Moto2 rider will continue his adventure on the Ducati V21L and will have at his side the San Marino rider Luca Bernardi, one of the five rookies of the MotoE 2025. The fifth and final rookie of the new season of the electric championship is Tommaso Occhi, a young Italian rider chosen by Paolo Simoncelli. At the moment, the Sic58 Squadra Corse is the only one to have chosen just one rider, while the second rider of the team has not yet been defined.
