MotoE Jerez Test 2022 - The last pre-season test of the MotoE World Cup 2022 at the Circuito de Jerez - Angel Nieto is ongoing. Matteo Ferrari (FELO Gresini MotoE team) was the fastest in the second session which took place on a dry track. Bradley Smith (WithU GRT RNF MotoE team) was in second place ahead of Spanish rookie Marc Alcoba (Openbank Aspar Team).
Behind them Eric Granado (LCR E-Team) ahead of Mattia Casadei (Pons Racing 40) and Hector Garzo (Tech3 E-Racing).
The session was interrupted by the red flag necessary to remove the bike of Xavi Fores (Octo Pramac MotoE) crashed at Turn 1. The session then ended normally. Problems with the bike for the other Octo Pramac team rider, Kevin Manfredi, who could only complete one lap.
Niccolò Canepa, WithU GRT RNF MotoE team rider, did not take part in the first day of testing.

Tomorrow and Wednesday will be particularly important, as there will be a simulation of the qualifying session, in the new MotoGP-style format with Q1 and Q2, and a race simulation.
