Race 1 of the San Marino GP at the Misano World Circuit gives us the name of the winner of the MotoE World Cup 2022: Dominique Aegerter is mathematically the winner of the fourth season of the MotoGP electric class.

La MotoE World Cup has its 2022 champion: it is Dominique Aegerter, who wins the title of the MotoGP electric class with a race ahead of the end of the season. After eleven races, Dominique Aegerter has 214 points, 37,5 more than Eric Granado, who crashed in race 1 at Misano. To compete for the third step of the podium of the MotoE 2022 are the two home drivers Matteo Ferrari and Mattia Casadei, while Miquel Pons, fourth on the eve of the San Marino GP, is cut out of the fight due to the crash in race 1 at Misano. Ferrari and Casadei are separated by 1,5 points and will play all together in race 2.
In the challenge for the best rookie 2022, Alex Escrig collects other important points and reaches 17,5 points ahead of Kevin Manfredi.
