The MotoE World Cup is approaching the San Marino GP, the third round of the season, at the Marco Simoncelli circuit in Misano Adriatico. For this event, two races are scheduled, one on Saturday and one on Sunday. Mike Di Meglio reaches this double appointment with the aim of consolidating its leadership in the World Cup standings. The EG 0,0 MarcVDS team rider arrives in Italy with 41 points in the standings thanks to the victory in Austria and third place in Germany. Behind him Bradley Smith with 36 points and Xavier Simeon with 29. (here the complete World Cup standings)
Here are the words of the French rider two days before the start of the race weekend in Misano:
"I am looking forward to this Grand Prix, especially after the first victory in Austria. This is a circuit that I like and on which I’m excited to race an electric motorcycle. This will be the first time that two races will be held in the same weekend with only one day to prepare for them. It won't be easy to manage, so it will be doubly important to gain confidence, find a good rhythm and be very concentrated to make the most of the practice sessions, as well as getting a good starting grid position in the E-Pole. As always the objective will be to fight for the podium and victory."
