Matteo Ferrari one step away from the podium in Assen

The growth of Matteo Ferrari and the Indonesian E-Racing Gresini Team continues MotoE; the Italian driver finds the best result of the season with fourth place in Assen. In the classic sprint race of the MotoE (seven laps today), the former World Champion is good at not losing his head after a difficult start and then recovering by passing Tulovic and Okubo. Ferrari earns 13 important points and is now seventh in the standings.  
Andrea Mantovani also closes in the points with the fourteenth position today. For the category rookie, another race completed and other kilometers of experience in view of the next appointment in Austria in a month and a half.

“Unfortunately they closed me at the start and I risked crashing losing some positions. Then I lost a lot of time to overtake Okubo, but I had the pace to be with the best and today's is definitely a good result for us. Too bad for the start, we would certainly have been there in front to play for the podium ”.
