The Pramac Racing team has chosen Luca Salvadori for the MotoE World Championship 2023: it will be the Italian rider's absolute debut in the World Championship. Salvadori will also take part in the first edition of the MotoE with the bikes supplied by Ducati.

In 2023 Luca Salvadori will be the rider of the Pramac Racing team for the MotoE World Championship. For the Italian rider it will be the absolute debut in a category of the MotoGP World Championship. Before joining the MotoE World Championship, Salvadori was a rider in the Superstock 1000 World Cup, in the Superstock 600, he won the Italian National 600 and has been among the protagonists of the Italian National 1000 for years. Salvadori joins Nicholas Spinelli (Pons Racing team) among the MotoE 2023 rookies.

In previous editions of the MotoGP electric championship, the riders who had joined the Pramac Racing team were: Alex De Angelis and Josh Hook in 2019 and 2020, Alessandro Zaccone and Yonny Hernandez in 2021 and Kevin Manfredi and Xavi Fores in 2022. In the box of the Pramac team, Salvadori will not be the only novelty, in fact the Ducati MotoE "V21L" will make its debut replacing the MotoE of Energica Motor Company.

In addition to his activity as a rider, Luca Salvadori is a well-known and appreciated youtuber by the motorcycle public, even if, on his Facebook profile, he defines himself as “someone who sometimes makes good videos”. His hope is to bring his skills as a content creator into the paddock of the World Championship. This would allow the audience of younger fans to approach the MotoE, a very spectacular and promising category that currently has poor media coverage.

"It's finally official and I couldn't wait to tell you about it," said Luca Salvadori on his social profiles, announcing his commitment to Moto 2023. "In addition to this of course, I will continue with Broncos Racing and the new V4R for other races during the year, between National and European Championships to learn the tracks of the World Championship: Red Bull Ring, Le Mans, Sachsering. We are working to bring out a great season! In the World Championship, I will not have the freedom to record exactly like in the Italian championship, but I will still be able to make awesome contents!"

The 2023 season of the MotoE will begin in March with the first winter test at the Jerez de la Frontera circuit and will continue in Barcelona for the second test session before the official start of the season, at Le Mans, from 12th to 14th of May.
