The “Cathedral” awaits the Indonesian E-Racing Gresini MotoE team

Matteo Ferrari (Indonesian E-Racing Gresini MotoE)

After Montmeló, there is another important news in the MotoE calendar with the Assen TT which will be the venue for the fourth round of the World Cup and the Indonesian E-Racing Gresini MotoE team.
A lot to gain in the Netherlands, with Matteo Ferrari looking for an important result with the aim of getting back on track for the title. Currently the Italian is eighth in the overall standings, but the gap from the top is minimal (27 points).
The 2020 runner-up has already raced in Assen in the past (with the Moto3), as well as Andrea Mantovani who raced on this track here for the last time in 2016 (with the Stock1000). An advantage to be exploited for both, weather permitting.

The overall standings

Matteo Ferrari
“The weather will be unpredictable, as in Le Mans, as I remember it from my past experience in Moto3. We need to be good at improving session after session to be competitive in the race for the top positions. In our Faenza HQ we worked hard to be ready and I can't wait to be at the motorcycling Cathedral".

Andrea Mantovani, one of the rookies of MotoE

Andrea Mantovani
“I haven't raced in Assen for a long time, and I really want to go back. I consider it the university of motorcycling and no more words are needed. With the MotoE, the weather forecast and the almost new circuit for me will be a leap in the dark, but we have worked hard to improve and we want to start taking the benefits”.
