This weekend, the MotoE arrives at the Red Bull Ring for the Austrian GP, the seventh round of the 2024 season. Twelve races have been completed and four remain to be contested. At the top of the 2024 World Championship we find Hector Garzò (Dynavolt Intact GP) with a group of five riders behind him determined to take away the leadership of the classification.
The fight for the title was rekindled in Assen, with the accidents of Mattia Casadei (LCR E-Team) and Kevin Zannoni (Openbank Aspar Team) - the leading duo in the standings - and the excellent performances of Oscar Gutierrez (Axxis- MSI) and Hector Garzò, the main pursuers. In the following round, in Germany, Garzò achieved a fantastic double and, with 50 points obtained, moved into the lead of the championship, with a 25 point advantage over the first of his pursuers, Mattia Casadei.
