First free practice of the championship MotoE at the German Grand Prix, Sachsenring circuit. Best time of 1 ″ 28.751 for Jesko Raffin of the Dynavolt IntactGP team. The Swiss driver precedes Niki Tuuli by just over half a second and Alex De Angelis, of the Octo Pramac team, by almost 8 tenths MotoE. The riders took to the track at 11.50 for 30 minutes and with one battery charge completed 11 to 14 laps. Problems for the Italian Lorenzo Savadori of the TRENTINO Gresini team MotoE who only completed 2 laps in free practice.
The riders will be back on track at the 16.50 for the second and last free practice session. The riders will have to take advantage of the 30 minutes available to find the right setting for tomorrow afternoon's Epole (16.00 hours).
