Jerez Test: first position and track record by Eric Granado

Eric Granado and the MotoE of the One Energy Racing team

One Energy Racing and Eric Granado have started their partnership for the 2021 season of the MotoE World Cup with an excellent test at the Jerez-Ángel Nieto circuit, a track where the rider from San Paolo took victory last year.
The Brazilian had a very positive start on Tuesday, being the fastest in the two opening sessions. Granado completed a total of 22 laps and finished with the second fastest time of the day, a 1:48.602.
Granado did another 22 laps on Wednesday, keeping a steady pace and improving his time to 1:48.143.
Thursday morning saw an even speedier time from Granado, who improved on his own track record with a 1:47.553. In the afternoon session he was second, again feeling positive about his feeling on the bike.
Eric Granado and One Energy Racing team will be back in action for the next preseason test, which will be held on the same track, from April 12nd to 14th.

Eric Granado
“I'm very happy, since we have evolved and improved every day. I'm satisfied with our results at this first test. I've adapted very well to the way the team works; my technicians and mechanics are very professional and have helped me a lot with developing and understanding their way of working. We have to continue working, but we are on the right track. This has been a positive few days and I feel good about it, but this doesn't give me points in the championship, so we have to keep looking for the best way to reach the end of the race as close as possible to the front. There are things we have in mind to try out at the next test, but the first contact has been great, and I am already looking forward to next time”.
