
This weekend the MotoE is on track at Misano, for the 2025 San Marino GP. Race 1 was won by Alessandro Zaccone, while Race 2 was won by Matteo Ferrari. Zaccone is now the new championship leader with two races to go.
This weekend the MotoE stops in Misano for the San Marino GP, the sixth round of the 2025 MotoGP electric category. This will also be the penultimate round in the history of the MotoE, which will be suspended by Dorna at the end of this season.
At the end of the first race, the home driver, Alessandro Zaccone (Aruba Cloud MotoE) crossed the finish line ahead of Nicholas Spinelli (Sniper Team) and Andrea Mantovani (Klint Forward Team). Lorenzo Baldassarri (Dynavolt Intact GP) and Mattia Casadei (LCR E-Team), the two championship leaders on the eve of the San Marino GP, crossed the finish line in tenth and ninth place respectively, losing the championship lead to Zaccone.
In race two, it was Matteo Ferrari (Felo Gresini MotoE) took the victory, ahead of the LCR duo of Eric Granado (second) and Mattia Casadei (third). Alessandro Zaccone finished fourth, leading the overall standings with 160 points, five more than Casadei and twelve more than Ferrari and Baldassarri.
