Mattia Casadei and Eric Granado renew with the LCR E-Team for the 2025 season of MotoE. Lucio Cecchinello's team continues its journey for the second year with both the Italian and Brazilian riders in the electric MotoGP class.

Brazilian rider Eric Granado will continue racing for the LCR E-Team in 2025 MotoE World Championship after three positive seasons with Lucio Cecchinello's team. Granado closed a difficult 2024 season, with few points at the beginning but a good recovery in the second part. Granado joined the LCR team in 2022 and since then has achieved six victories and ten podiums. His constant commitment, speed, determination, and attitude to work have brought him a new renewal with Lucio Cecchinello's team.
2025 will also mark the second consecutive season of the joint venture between LCR E-Team and 2023 World Champion and 2024 runner-up Mattia Casadei. In his first season with the LCR team, the talented Italian rider took three wins and seven other podiums, remaining in the championship fight until the final round. His strong performances from the start and the special bond between the rider and the team led to a second season together.

“We are delighted to be able to count on Mattia Casadei for another season. He has shown his talent and ability during his first year with us, finishing as vice-world champion in 2024; his speed is undeniable. Furthermore, he has adapted very well to the team and we are confident that 2025 can be a strong season for the LCR E-Team and for Casadei. The goal is to push and fight for the championship, and we will give our all to achieve it.
We are also happy to count on Eric Granado for another season. He showed his speed and his skills during his first year with us, finishing as vice-champion of the world, and he has always been in the fight; he is a talented rider. Over the years we have built a solid relationship and we are confident that 2025 can be a promising season for the LCR E-Team and for Granado. The goal is to push and fight for the Championship, and we believe we have all the ingredients to, at least, try to do that”.
