The racetrack, the streets and squares of Imola will host, from 23 to 25 September, the 2022 edition of GoSmartGoGreen, the event created to educate and encourage people to use electric vehicles in total safety in urban centers.
GoSmartGoGreen 2022 takes place this weekend in Imola. For those unfamiliar with it, GoSmartGoGreen is the event dedicated to eco-sustainable mobility issues with the aim of educating and encouraging people to use an electric vehicle in total safety in city centers. from a young age. GoSmartGoGreen's goal is also to convey to everyone the concepts and techniques of safe driving of an electric vehicle thanks to the federal technicians of the Italian Motorcycle Federation as well as specialized technicians in the various sectors related to eco-sustainable mobility.
The first edition of GoSmartGoGreen was held in Treviso in 2021, while this year the city of Imola and its racetrack will open their doors to the future of mobility. To support the initiative conceived by Gianluca Nannelli, former Suprbike world rider, and his own Nannelli Riders Academy, there are the Municipality of Imola and Motus-E. The latter is the Italian association made up of industrial operators, the automotive supply chain, the academic world and opinion movements created to promote and accelerate the change towards electric mobility.
The racetrack, the streets and squares of Imola will therefore host, from 23 to 25 September, a new appointment of the first National Tour which aims to educate and encourage people to use an electric vehicle in total safety in urban centers. Under the expert guidance of FMI federal motorcycle technicians and specialists from partner companies, interested parties, regardless of age, will be able to learn the basic concepts and techniques of safe driving in the use of motorcycles, bicycles, scooters and electric cars.
Test drives on the track are also scheduled, where it will be possible to discover the ideal trajectories of the circuit on motorcycles led by professional riders, or by personally driving the electric motorcycles following the instructors. There will also be tours with e-bikes, urban test drives and free trials on the track with owned electric cars. Among the appointments there are also aperitifs and live music with Vittoria and the Hyde Park, on the evening of Friday 23 September and evening DJ sets on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25.
