An important three days of testing ends in Jerez de la Frontera for the teams of the MotoE World Cup. Indonesian E-Racing Gresini MotoE team was immediately protagonist in the first preseaon test with the new title sponsor, the Indonesian Racing Team.
Predictable, but not obvious for the very high level of competition, seeing Matteo Ferrari (World Champion 2019 and Vice-Champion 2020) in the top positions in most of the sessions. The rider from Rimini ended the tests in third position behind Eric Granado need Dominique Aegerter. For Ferrari a lot of work to find the right feeling with the news of this year's bike.

The debut of Andrea Mantovani ended its first test in MotoE with a time very close to that of his teammate (+ 0.467s) which earned him the Top 10. For the rookie of the category also a crash on the last day in which he suffered an abrasion on his right foot, which however did not prevented him from returning to the track.

Matteo Ferrari
“Today was not a very lucky day: the second session was canceled as well as the race simulation session due to a problem to the rechargers. This morning, however, I had a good session; we tested the new tyres and the new fork and worked on the set-up. I need to improve my riding style to close the gap with the top, but beeing in the Top 3 is a good start".
Andrea Mantovani
“We have been growing day by day, improving a second every time. It's a great challenge, it's a completely different way to ride a bike, but I immediately felt comfortable with both the bike and the team. I was expecting a harder bike in the changes of direction and instead there is an excellent balance. I am very confident!"
